How do we convey
Just how we feel
When we lose someone we love?
How do we explain
The deep, lonely pain
The emptiness left in us?
No words can express
The hurt and anguish
Nor touch on how we feel
God shares our tears
And gives us His love
And He, in time, will heal
The hopes and the dreams
We had just remains
Like an unfinished book of their life
As an incomplete chapter
Remains unfinished
With nothing more to write
But we can know God’s comfort
And know there is hope
With a new chapter to begin
We can hold on to God
For He loves us so much
And fills the void within
As we close one chapter
Another can begin
Though the one we love has gone
Through Christ’s strength in us
And hope in our hearts
We find courage to carry on

The time has come for me to release you
Free to fly high above this world.
Where the flowers forever bloom &
The ultimate love fills the space.
In my attempt to try to keep you
I've only been able to hold the anger
Not realizing that I have to let you go
I can't hold on.
I'll no more keep your pain alive,
I won't try to hold you down.
I'll let you fly on to higher ground.
My grief has left a numbness,
as if this isn't real
You are in my heart forever,
but I know I have to let you be free.
Soar high.
Laugh as a child that feels the joy of the moment.
Play among the rivers flowing through the hills.
Roam the fields of daisies.
Fly to the top of the mountains.
With closed eyes, I see you among the flowers,
High above the clouds.
Your presence blows through me with the breeze.
Your smile beams down on through the sun.
The full moon brings the light of your laughter to my mind.
And the Butterfly in all its splendour reminds me
of your beauty and freedom now.
Leaving your love for me lingering in my world.

Imagine if you would, the clouds floating by,
They are not really clouds, but angels in the sky.

With beautiful smiles upon all of their lips,
They drink from the fountain of life with refreshing sips.

And imagine the glows on each smiling face,
Because there is no hatred up there not even a trace.
*♥*
They have golden halos atop glimmering hair,
Plucking stars from the heavens to use for their chairs.
*♥*
They wear gowns made of stardust trimmed in silver and gold,
Each one is ageless living in a home where they never grow old.
*♥*
Do not be surprised when the clouds are not clouds any more,
But the angels sent by Jesus to hold open heavens door.
*♥*
Smiling as they say, "Jesus wants you to come in,"
"He loves you so much He died for your sins."

Are you looking at the clouds as they slowly float by?
Hey! Those aren't really clouds, they're angels in the sky!

Footsteps of Angels

When your heart climbs a mountain,
And your soul finds a sweet peace.
Then you hear footsteps of angels,
You're heart beat is increased.
When Your eyes see what you have been,
And changes now and then.
You have heard footsteps of angels,
As you begin to grin.
Your heart melts at the site of a blind child,
Bending down, giving him a hand.
You feel a lift from heaven,
And join in with their band.
When the sea calls your name,
As you stare out over it's shore.
Admiring it's beauty and knowing what it is for,
It is really angels at your heart's outside door.
When life you give for all you care,
And time for you is late.
Just listen for angels footsteps,
They will carry you to heaven's gate.
